The RBI's Monetary Policy Committee on Friday decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 4%, the lowest on record. It has so far slashed the policy rate by 115 basis points this year. The status quo also comes as retail inflation remained above RBI's target range of 2-6% for the seventh straight month in October at 7.61%.
