Reliance Industries (RIL) on Sunday offered ₹1.11 crore to the shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, a temple official said. An RIL representative handed over a demand draft for the sum to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) that governs the shrine, he added. RIL requested that the amount be utilised in the temple-run free meal trust for pilgrims, the official said.
