American swimmer Katie Ledecky has withdrawn from the 200 metres freestyle and will miss her 1,500 metres title defence at the World Aquatics Championships due to illness. Ledecky, who had won Olympic gold in the 200m, 400m and 800m events at the Rio Olympics, had been feeling under the weather since arriving in South Korea last week.
