Russia built computer in 1936 that ran on water

Russian scientist Vladimir Lukyanov built a computer in 1936 that ran on water and was the world’s first computer that could solve partial differential equations. The computer had interconnected water-filled glass tubes whose levels indicated the answers, while adjusting the taps and plugs changed variables. It had applications in various fields like geology, rocket engineering and metallurgy.
