Russia has "categorically" denied allegations that it had bribed FIFA officials for the right to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup. "Russia absolutely legally got the right," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. The allegations are linked to the 2015 corruption scandal that led to then FIFA President Sepp Blatter along with UEFA chief Michel Platini being banned.
