Samples of dead cranes in Delhi zoo test -ve for bird flu: Officials

Samples of 12 dead cranes in Delhi's National Zoological Park have tested negative for bird flu, authorities said on Friday. "Twelve samples were collected on Monday and sent to [ICAR-NIHSAD, Bhopal] for testing," director of the animal husbandry unit of the Delhi government said. Last week, samples from a dead owl had tested positive for avian influenza.
