Samsung India Electronics earned revenues of ₹73,086 crore in the financial year 2018-19, becoming the first smartphone and consumer electronics company in the country to cross $10 billion in revenues. As per regulatory filings, this is an almost 20% jump from ₹61,066 crore in 2017-18. However, the firm's net profit declined by over 58% to ₹1,540.5 crore during the period.
