Satnam Singh, India’s first player in NBA, fails dope test

Satnam Singh Bhamara, the first Indian player to be picked in an NBA draft in 2015, has been provisionally suspended after he failed a doping test last month. He was suspended on November 19 as per a newsletter released by National Anti-Doping Agency. Last month, Bhamara had pulled out of the 13th South Asian Games citing personal reasons.
