Saudi begins selling alcohol to non-Muslims, sets salary limit: Report

Saudi Arabia has started selling alcohol to its non-Muslim residents who are earning at least 50,000 riyals ($13,300 or around ₹11,99,000) per month, Bloomberg reported. Residents looking to purchase alcohol must reportedly prove their income by showing their salary certificates to access the country's only liquor store in Riyadh. The store opened last year for sales to foreign diplomats.
