The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a petition by Reliance Communications (RCom), seeking to extend the December 15 deadline to repay ₹550-crore dues to Ericsson. The company argued it hasn't received 'no objection certificate' from telecom department to proceed with spectrum sale to Reliance Jio. RCom earlier said proceeds from spectrum deal will be used to clear Ericsson's dues.
