SEBI has directed PNB Housing Finance to temporarily halt its ₹4,000-crore share allotment to companies led by The Carlyle Group. PNB said it received a letter from SEBI calling upon the firm to comply with the legal provisions in the matter. The board of directors believe that the firm has acted in compliance with all relevant applicable laws, it added.
