SEBI on Monday launched pilot project of 'Past Risk and Return Verification Agency (PaRRVA)'. With this, India has become the first country to have a standard framework for investment performance verification. The platform will help investors make informed decisions by providing them with verified past returns by the financial service providers. It aims to curb mis-selling of investment products.
