Franklin Templeton AMC has said that the SEBI's order prohibiting the company from launching new debt funds will have no bearing on existing schemes managed by it. SEBI has barred the firm from launching any new debt scheme for two years. A penalty of ₹5 crore was also imposed on the company for violating regulatory norms.
