Sensex jumps 639 points, Nifty ends above 15,800 led by IT & financials
BSE Sensex on Thursday ended 639 points or 1.22% higher to close at 52,837 levels while the broader Nifty 50 jumped 192 points to 15,824. The top Sensex gainer was Tech Mahindra whose shares surged 5.6%. Financials and IT stocks like Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) gained between 1-5%.
