Benchmark indices opened in green on Wednesday with Sensex up 64.90 points at 59,907.11 and Nifty at 17,844.70 with a rise of 19.40 points. NTPC, Grasim Industries, BPCL, Hero MotoCorp and Eicher Motors were among the major Nifty gainers, while the stock of HDFC, HDFC Bank, Infosys, TCS and HCL Technologies slipped. Nearly 1,452 shares advanced and 450 shares declined.
