Union Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday raised questions on the success of multi-party democratic system in India. The aim of the multi-party system was to further the national progress, Shah said. After 70 years of independence, people had doubts in their mind on whether the multi-party system had failed and if it would meet their goals, he added.
