Square CEO Jack Dorsey has said the fintech firm is "considering building a Bitcoin mining system based on custom silicon and open source for individuals and businesses worldwide". He added that Bitcoin mining needs to be more distributed. "The more decentralised this is, the more resilient the Bitcoin network becomes," Dorsey said.
