Filmmaker Ravi Chopra's wife Renu recalled approaching Shah Rukh Khan for money to make her son Abhay's debut directorial 'Ittefaq'. Renu said Shah Rukh agreed to invest without even reading the script, adding, "His funda was, 'I never back the horse; I back the jockey'." Renu said when she tried paying interest, Shah Rukh refused and called it "haram (forbidden)".
