The Karnataka CMO on Wednesday said that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has instructed officials to study the Gujarat model of revised traffic fines and implement something similar in the state. "Citizens are facing inconvenience due to the hefty fine amounts," Yediyurappa told officials. This comes after the Gujarat government announced reductions in traffic fines by up to 90% on Tuesday.
