Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K Palaniswami has urged IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad to allot 10,000 seats under the India BPO Promotion Scheme to the state. Tamil Nadu has provided 7,705 seats in Software Technology Parks of India, Chennai jurisdiction to the BPO industry, he said. The success rate in terms of commencement of operations is over 93%, he added.
