Technology to monitor driver, passengers and objects inside a car for "safety benefits" was unveiled at the ongoing technology event CES 2019 in Las Vegas. The technology is aimed to generate alerts such as about drowsiness, unfastened seat belts or wallets left in the backseat. In-car sensor technology is deemed critical to the full deployment of self-driving cars, reports said.
