Tesla has added billionaire Airbnb Co-founder Joe Gebbia as an independent member on its board of directors. In July, Gebbia stepped down from his full-time operating role at Airbnb after 14 years. Notably, Gebbia has waived all entitlement to cash compensation and has agreed to not take any stock-based rewards until July 2023, said Tesla in filings with the SEC.
