Elon Musk on Sunday claimed that Tesla cars work as boats for short periods of time as an electric car has no air intake or exhaust to block and its battery/motor/electronics are water-sealed. The Tesla CEO claimed this in a tweet while responding to a video on how to escape a sinking car. "Submarines are just underwater EVs," Musk added.
