Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) chief Louise Martin has said that shooting will not be a part of the 2022 Birmingham edition, as there is no space anymore for it in the roster. Louise maintained that shooting has never been a compulsory sport in the Games. It is the first time since 1974 that shooting has been excluded from the Games.
