On being asked about the availability of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said, "It is ensured that not only today but even in future there will not be any lack of HCQ as and when needed." He reiterated that HCQ has been prescribed to "a particular set of people".
