The Madras High Court on Tuesday noted that based on postmortem reports of Jayaraj and Bennicks, there is prima facie evidence to file murder charges against the policemen involved in their deaths. The reports show the father-son duo had grievous injuries on their bodies, the court observed. It directed CB-CID to continue investigation till the CBI takes over the case.
