Former ISRO scientist S Nambi Narayanan on Wednesday said that the spy case made up against him was no spy case at all and "those who fabricated the case should have been a little clever". Narayanan was arrested in 1994 for allegedly leaking defence secrets to Maldivian spies but was cleared later. He was recently awarded ₹50 lakh in compensation.
