TikTok and ByteDance filed a complaint in a court challenging President Donald Trump's executive order that would block US firms from doing business with them. They said Trump moved to ban the app for political reasons and not to stop an "extraordinary threat". TikTok's interim CEO Vanessa Pappas also invited Facebook "to publicly join our challenge and support our litigation".
