A worker of West Bengal's ruling party Trinamool Congress (TMC) was murdered in the East Medinipur district on Tuesday night, police said. Biswajit Bag's family alleged that BJP workers blocked his path and used abusive language which led to an altercation. Police said prima facie it appeared he was killed with sharp weapons. TMC blamed BJP workers for his murder.
