Ahmedabad-based Torrent Pharmaceuticals is recalling over 1.78 million bottles of Losartan Potassium tablets from the US and Puerto Rico, according to a report by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). The blood pressure treatment drug is being recalled due to the presence of impurities, the report said. The tablets are manufactured at its Mehsana facility in Gujarat.
