The indefinite truck strike by Federation of West Bengal Truck Operators' Associations entered its third day today. The federation is demanding immediate implementation of GST on petrol and diesel and implementation of revised safe axle weight for goods vehicles. "If [GST on fuel] is implemented, then the prices will drop substantially," a member of the federation said.
