UK imposes sanctions on 49 individuals, entities over human rights abuse

The UK has imposed sanctions on 49 people and organisations behind the most "notorious" human rights abuses of recent years. Those identified in the first list of sanctions are 25 Russian and 20 Saudi Arabian individuals, and it also includes two Myanmar army officials named in relation to Rohingyas in Rakhine state. Two North Korean organisations have also been named.
