The Uttar Pradesh government is planning to rename Agra to Agravan, according to reports. The state government has asked the history department of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Agra to look for historical evidence if the city was known by any other name, a university professor said. "We have begun the research and will reply to the letter," he added.
