The US has asked Iraq to "fulfil its obligations" to protect American diplomatic facilities in the country, a State Department spokesperson said. Three rockets had struck the US Embassy compound in Baghdad, Iraq on Sunday, injuring one US official. "Since September there have been over 14 attacks by Iran and Iranian-supported militias on US personnel in Iraq," the spokesperson added.
