The US Capitol building and surrounding streets in Washington DC were reportedly locked down after police said they were responding to an "external threat". US Capitol Police said "someone rammed a vehicle into two USCP officers" injuring them and a suspect has been taken into custody. "All three have been transported to the hospital," said police.
