Congress leader VD Satheesan will be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Kerala on May 18. The Congress MLAs will take the oath on May 21. VD Satheesan's name as Chief Minister was finalised 10 days after the Congress-led UDF won 102 seats in the 140-member Assembly. He has been a six-time MLA from Paravur.
