VideoLAN, a non-profit that operates VLC media player, has sent a legal notice to IT Ministry and Department of Telecommunications months after its website with the link to download VLC was blocked by the government. In the notice, VideoLAN demanded a copy of blocking order issued for banning the URL and an opportunity to defend its case through a hearing.
