The Washington Post endorsed Democratic Party's nominee Joe Biden for US President on Monday, one day before the first of three presidential debates. The newspaper, owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, called Donald Trump "the worst president of modern times". The newspaper said Biden is well-qualified "to meet daunting challenges that the nation will face over the coming four years".
