Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) President Rajat Sharma said the association will ban aspiring cricketer Anuj Dedha for life for physically assaulting current Delhi selector and ex-India pacer Amit Bhandari. A group of 15 people led by Dedha beat Bhandari for not selecting him in Delhi's U-23 team. "Whatever he has done, he only deserves exemplary punishment," Sharma added.
