Fast bowler Azmatullah Omarzai on Wednesday recorded the best bowling figures for Afghanistan in ICC ODI tournaments. The 24-year-old registered figures of 9.5-0-58-5 against England in the Champions Trophy 2025 match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Omarzai is followed by spinner Mohammad Nabi (4/30), fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi (4/34), and pacer Shapoor Zadran (4/34).
