Several of the world's most populous nations have never qualified for the FIFA World Cup. India tops the list with a population of 1.46 billion, followed by Pakistan (255 million) and Bangladesh (175 million). Ethiopia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Tanzania, Myanmar and Kenya also feature in the list. FIFA World Cup 2026 will commence on June 11.
