The shortlisted candidates for India head coach job include incumbent Ravi Shastri, an automatic entry in the process. Lalchand Rajput, India's manager during 2007 T20 World Cup win, and ex-fielding coach Robin Singh are the other Indians in the list. Ex-New Zealand coach Mike Hesson, ex-Sri Lanka coach Tom Moody and ex-West Indies all-rounder Phil Simmons have also been included.
