Afghanistan opener Ibrahim Zadran, who scored the highest-ever score (177) in Champions Trophy history, was born in Khost. The 23-year-old batter, who has played 35 ODIs, 44 T20Is, and seven Tests, has scored 3,280 international runs. The right-hander was the first to score a hundred for Afghanistan at the ODI World Cup when he hit 129* against Australia in 2023.
