Why were Man Utd players killed in crash called Busby Babes?

'Busby Babes' is the name given to Manchester United footballers who were part of club's youth team in the early 1950s and won the English first division under Matt Busby's management. The average age of the championship winning team in 1955-56 and 1956-57 was just 22. Eight of the players died in the Munich air crash on February 6, 1958.
