Congress leader Sushmita Dev on Thursday said the party will scrap the Triple Talaq law if voted to power in the upcoming 2019 elections. Speaking at the Congress' minorities convention, the leader said the law is just another weapon of the Modi government to arrest and imprison Muslim men. She said it's a promise that Congress will repeal the law.
