Yashvir Singh, who was India's national wrestling coach when Sushil Kumar won the bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, passed away on Thursday following a prolonged illness. Singh was given the 'Coach of the Year' award by the International Wrestling Federation (FILA) after Sushil's 2010 World Championship gold. Yashvir had also mentored Olympic medallist Yogeshwar Dutt.
