US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Thursday toured Ford Motor's plant in South Africa's Silverton and lauded the US carmaker's 100-year history of assembling vehicles in the country. "The plant, which employs 4,000 people, is an example of how deeper ties between the United States and Africa could produce good jobs and boost economic growth for both sides," Yellen said.
