Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh each to the families of those who died in the collision between a passenger bus and a lorry in Karnataka's Hubli. "My thoughts are with the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon," PMO tweeted. "The injured would be given ₹50,000," another tweet by the PMO said.
