8-yr-old boy, rescued after 4 days from 55-ft-deep borewell, dies in MP

Eight-year-old Tanmay Sahu, who was stuck at 55 feet of a 400-feet-deep borewell after falling into it on December 6, died after he was rescued, the Betul district administration said on Saturday. SDRF, Home Guard and local police officials were involved in the rescue operation for the last four days. He fell into the borewell while playing.
