Agriculture reform bills are farmers' shields, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that the agriculture reform bills are necessary to protect farmers from middlemen, and added, "I congratulate them on the passage of bills...These are farmers' shields." He further said, "The people who ruled this country for decades are attempting to mislead the farmers on this issue. They are lying to the farmers."
